  1.                   CopyFit-It (Introductory Version 1.0 U)

  3. Created by a graphic designer, CopyFit-It makes copyfitting faster and
  4. easier.  Copyfitting is the process of figuring out what type sizes etc.
  5. will make a text fit the space available for it in a layout.  It's done
  6. often by designers, typesetters, and publishers, and many businesses and
  7. organizations do it for themselves.

  9. This Introductory Version of CopyFit-It requires an IBM-PC or compatible,
  10. with 80-column x 25-row monitor, 64K RAM minimum, one disk drive minimum,
  11. and MS/PC-DOS 2.0 or higher.  Its three files:
  12.      COPYFIT.COM   The copyfitting software
  13.      COPYFIT.DOC   A 24-page manual for the software
  14.      README        This file
  15. The manual describes the copyfitting process and gives detailed descriptions
  16. of the various program procedures.  In addition, the third chapter ends by
  17. telling the extra advantages of the commercial version of CopyFit-It, and
  18. the last page of the manual is an order form for it.

  20. Before using CopyFit-It, make a working copy and store the original safely;
  21. if you're not sure how, refer to your DOS manual or computer's manual. 
  22. TO BEGIN RUNNING CopyFit-It, enter  COPYFIT  at the DOS prompt.  To send the
  23. manual to your printer, enter    COPY [drive letter]:COPYFIT.DOC LPT1:   at
  24. the DOS prompt.
